Tripton Park

This is literally one of the nicest parks I’ve ever frequented. Unfortunately, some delinquents vandalize and litter here often, it seems. Otherwise, it’s very well maintained, peaceful, esthetically pleasing, and has free wifi. I come here often to walk, read, and relax. Restrooms are usually decently clean and there are water fountains for people and pets.

Wonderful park to walk or run. Highly recommend. The trails are paved and there is a playground.

You can walk, drive, or even just roll your eyes and get there. The park’s just there, waiting for you like a Netflix series you forgot existed.

First off, let’s talk about the disc golf course. It’s a beautiful 9-hole monstrosity where you get to throw plastic discs at metal baskets. Sure, you’ll feel like a champion until your frisbee ends up in that “hidden” patch of woods you definitely didn’t sign up for. But hey, it’s about the journey, right? Forget your game-winning throw, it’s all about how many discs you can lose. It’s like a treasure hunt, but the treasure is just more frustration.

Sure, there’s no Beyoncé, but there are occasionally events that may or may not make you question your taste in entertainment. Still, it’s a solid place for some outdoor movie nights, provided you’re not too busy questioning whether you’ve entered a low-budget version of “Breaking Bad.”

Restrooms: A True Adventure in Mystery

Now, we’ve all been there, got to go, but the restrooms are a total gamble. Will they be open? Will they smell like freedom? Or will you walk in and wonder if a crime scene is being investigated? It’s like a game of chance, except the stakes are higher and your bladder is in charge.

Tripton Park is the place to be if you’re into fresh air, mildly overpriced snacks (at the vending machine, because obviously), and pretending that you’re going to get fit but end up just laying on the grass hoping someone brings you a cold drink. So grab a frisbee, bring the kids (or don’t), and make memories you’ll definitely laugh about when you’re older, or forget entirely.

Beautiful! Best word to describe this park. There is a pier with a view of a pond with a fountain, a rubber padded playground (with fun for the whole family), an outdoor gym area, shelter houses, concrete corn hole boards, and disc golf course! Beautiful scenery, and plenty of space to run around. Clean bathrooms and great food right beside it! (Grateful Grub)
