Ive just moved to North Vernon 2 years ago, And one of my favorite parts about living here is that we have a park thats 9 mins away from our home and we are there almost everyday from baseball, t-ball, softball, soccer or swimming at the pool or playing at the playground to easter egg hunts to meeting the easter bunny and firefighters It’s differently gonna be the most memorable places in my kids memories as they look back at there childhood growing up.. That makes me heart happy. Theres been so many smiles, laughs, learning experiences. They have & myself have made so many wonderful friends there too. These are just a few pics of our memories here!
Went for a 10u baseball tournament at the park and I was so disappointed. Not with the park itself, it is a very nice park don’t get me wrong. The umpires in the baseball game favored the Indiana teams over the Louisville teams and made bad calls the whole 2 day tournament. It’s bad to cheat kids but to have that reputation is even worse. We will never be back. Watch the video and listen to the calls
This is a great park. The layout of the park caters to a variety of activities, from baseball, to RC racing, to a fantastic pool and splash pad. The farmers market is my favorite of the area. The pavilion accommodates many vendors. The 3 play grounds are well maintained. Location, amenities, and ease of entrance make this a must visit park.
The community came together and had a car show with free hot dogs and water bottles. The fire department was there with a ladder truck spraying water for the kids to play in. The park was clean and groomed well.
