FAQ for Volunteers Park in North Salem New York:
Very small park and playground. The playground definitely needs some maintenance and updating. Entertained our 5 year old for about 15 minutes. Our dogs enjoyed the paved walking trail, but it doesn’t connect, so it’s a lot of back and forth. Park was a bit trashy, so we grabbed a trash bag and gloves and did some clean up and we’re able to fill an entire trash bag. Restrooms on the other side of the basketball court. No trashcans in park, only in restroom. Recommend for a short outing.
We went for the grandkids to play on the monkey bars, but the sun has turned them to finger-toasters and there’s not much else…so we left.

There’s a nice deli down the hill from the field and the area is nice.
Not a great field for rainy day since it is a grass field and it’s uneven.
