Been fishing here for many, many years…. three generations, and a fourth just started. Not necessarily the most beautiful place on earth. Just a little tranquil corner of the world.

Haven’t caught a fish in decades. No matter, a bad day of 🐟 fishing is better than a good day at work.

Beautiful, peaceful reservoir which is reportedly good for bass fishing. Pluses: Only an hour from NYC, nice place for fishing, peaceful, beautiful location. Negatives: Area limited to small rowboats and fishing. No hiking aroind reservoir. Very limited parking and must park on side of road in a few, limited lications. Large number of rowboats chained to trees all around reservoir. Many seem abandoned. Large areas of floating vegetarian which prevent fishing in those areas.
