North Haledon Dog Park, located at 61 Brookside Terrace in North Haledon, New Jersey, is a quiet neighborhood dog park that doubles as a community gathering spot. The fenced-in dog run is suitable for quick play sessions and socializing with other dog owners, though it is on the smaller side. This dog park shares its space with the larger North Haledon municipal park, so visitors have access to expansive paved walking loops, children’s playgrounds, baseball and soccer fields, and tranquil surroundings popular with families and joggers alike.
Pet owners appreciate the park’s cleanliness, abundance of benches, and easy parking. While the dog area does not offer separate runs for small and large dogs or much shade within the run itself, its proximity to tree-lined walking paths and a friendly local crowd makes it a welcoming spot for off-leash fun. Water is available outside the enclosure, and while there may not be onsite bags or trash bins within the dog run, the overall clean and maintained environment reflects the pride of this North Haledon community.
