Monkton Community Dog Park

Monkton Community Dog Park is a welcoming, well-maintained park featuring separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. It offers a friendly atmosphere where dog owners and their pets can socialize and enjoy ample grassy space. The large dog area includes a gazebo providing shade, and there are shaded benches for seating. The park is wheelchair accessible with designated parking. While there are trash bins and provided poop bags, there is no water fountain available. Visitors should be prepared for muddy conditions in wet weather, and there is a double-gated entry system to ensure safe off-leash play.

I take my dog to this dog park nearly every weekday morning and have been doing so for the entire time the park has been open weather permitting. My dog and I have made so many great friends, animal and people there! Friendly folks and well mannered dogs of all ages and sizes. A beautiful environment and a huge asset to our community!
The park itself was great there is an entrance where you can unleash or leash your dog before entering one of 2 fenced in dog parks.. Someone showed up with their dog not leashed while we were trying to leave . Not very thought full to others. You should not act like a dog park is your own backyard and only your dog matters!
We love this dog park! My big dog has made big and small dog friends. Everyone that frequents it is super friendly and a good, responsible dog parent. Lots of space to run, but it turns into an absolute mud bog in the rain or when snow melts so be ready to give your dog a bath when you get home! The toys have almost all been run over by the lawn mower unfortunately, so they’re pretty beat up. Expect to bring your own or not use toys pretty much at all
Great dog park for people and pups. Separate area for smaller dogs and shaded benches elevate this park beyond just fenced in grass.
This is a nicely grassed park. It’s rather basic (just a fenced grassy area) but the large dog side has a gazebo for shade.
There is a small-dog side, trash, and bags. I didn’t see any water option.
