We really love this park 3/4 of the year! We went there many times over the summer and last spring and had a blast. The walking path is great, and so is the playground and sports fields/courts. There is also plenty of parking and a few porta potties which are better than nothing. Unfortunately in the Fall it is swarming with bees and yellow jackets. We met up there with a large group of families yesterday and had to leave early because 7 people got stung, and some were stung multiple times. I remember that there were a lot of bees when we went last fall also, so I think it is a seasonal issue. Therefore we will just go play elsewhere for the next month or two until the weather changes, and then return in the winter.
