Great place to view fall colors.

Great if you want to go fishing or canooing. There are plenty of small secluded spots along the lake to park your car and a few parking lots. Usually quiet aside from other people fishing. Does not have a boat ramp or public dock. Lake is decently clean but has a strong under current so swim at your own risk. There are no bathrooms, public swimming areas or lifeguards.

Nice place for walk stroll, spend few hours in nature. I saw people fishing as well near the lake next to spillway. There is enough parking space at entrance. At the end of the road. Nice easy short trails for hiking connecting bicentennial park & Davidson mill pond. The steps on the spillway is covered on 1 side and open on other so could be dangerous for kids.

A quite and secluded place to sit, relax and enjoy the nature . Not sure how safe it is when it’s dark .On a weekday afternoon my wife and myself wanted to explore a new place for an outdoor quick date and this place was perfect . We went for short trial and I assume the trials are good .
