Great loop. Did this today and it’s got one large perimeter road trail that takes you around the Conservation land. This was about 2.3 miles and was a pleasant surprise that this was well maintained. Only picked up one piece of trash on the whole walk. Great for families and anyone looking to get out for a walk in the woods.

Nice easy trails. It’s mostly young forest, but the river and open field make nice habitat transitions, supporting a variety of life

Great easy trail for kids or those who want to take up hiking. We hiked the perimeter trail. Took us about 40 minutes with plenty stops for pictures of the wildlife. A bit muddy in some areas as there is creek nearby. Overall, great hike.

Really nice and interesting place to hike. I did the entire perimeter loop which is kind of long but didn’t regret a single minute. Neat views of the river and cool old cemetery was interesting to walk past. I also noticed people are friendly and say hello when you pass them on the trail..

this is one of our favorite local trail networks, wending through field and woods, over bridges, past a little pond and revolutionary war-era cemetery. the perimeter trail is a nicely maintained, well-marked loop just over a mile and a half, with rocks and roots, a few ups and downs but mostly flat. i’m recovering from orthopedic surgery and have had no trouble navigating any of the trails in this little park. there have been no ticks and few bugs (unusual for this time of year, but it’s been pretty dry lately). leashed dogs are welcome; byo poop bags. there’s more bird and wildlife activity here than you’ll find over at Rachel Carson, as the trail is far less trafficked and leads deeper into the woods. my bullies absolutely love it here –pretty sure it’s their favorite snuffle shuffle, and i truly love the peace and solitude of this beautiful place. it’s not too far off the beaten path, but when you’re out here, it sure feels like it is.
