We brought our pit bull to Yvette a year ago when he was two years old. We wanted to be able to leave him in a cage-less environment when we’re gone and he had been kicked out of all the options closer to our home because of his excessively high energy–he wore out the other dogs! Yvette kept Hercules for four weeks and gave us back a different dog. He was still loving, friendly and happy, but he was much calmer and, even better, much more obedient. We have worked very hard to support her techniques at home and we have been rewarded beyond what we could have expected. We live in a rural area and we can now take walks off leash because his obedience and responsiveness are so dependable. He is good with everyone he meets, including small children and other dogs. This has resulted in a major boost to everyone’s quality of life–Hercules gets lots of chances to run and we can enjoy having a dog who responds to our commands. We get a LOT of compliments from people who can’t believe how much he’s changed. Pit bulls are often pre-judged because of their “reputation” and we are very gratified to be able to report that he has won over several of our friends who were initially very wary of him. He has to stay with Yvette every couple of months when we travel and it’s quite obvious how much she cares about him. She is continually pushing US to keep pushing HIM to achieve even better behavior! We feel a tremendous amount of respect–and gratitude–for Yvette and recommend her very highly.

I was getting frustrated with Coco and was starting to regret getting her, but wanted to keep her. I found Stay, Play n Train, and things have changed for good. The trainer set my expectations correctly, and told me clearly that my attitude towards the dog had to change. After a period of boarding and training, Coco is much better behaved and I love her again!

After trying different trainers and training methods that were a complete waste of time and money we decided to bring our unruly two year old mini-poodle (Oliver) to Yvette. Trusting someone to take our dog into their home for training was a difficult decision as Oliver is our baby but Yvette made it easy by always making herself available by phone and sending us follow ups on Oliver’s progress. Yvette has worked very hard with not just Oliver but with my husband and I as well. We have learned so much from her about our dog’s behavior and how to make him a calm and happy little guy. His anxiety has significantly decreased and it shows at home and in public. People often compliment his behavior. Oliver has learned to share his toys and bones and most important, he now listens to his parent’s commands.

Taking my dog to Yvette was the BEST investment I could have ever made. My dog was extremely anxious and would constantly eat anything on my countertops! Yvette helped to tame his anxiety and train him properly. Not only does Yvette dedicate so much of herself to the dogs, but she also dedicates her time to her customers. She will always reach out and check in to see how my dog is doing and help me with any questions I may have. Yvette is insanely genuine, thoughtful, and hard working. I wouldn’t trust leaving my dog with anyone else. I am constantly getting compliments on how obedient my dog is. I am so beyond appreciative of her and her training.
