Nice trails with diverse wildlife and plants. Something new to discover every time I’m here! Great place to walk dogs (on your leash, please!) and meet new people!
We absolutely love the Farm Park. We have not yet participated in any of the activities that they offer. But we feel like the activities they offer are wholesome and appreciated. It’s a wonderful spot to walk, ride bikes, bird watch, or just view nature. It’s amazing in this day and age that such a nice place is open and free to the public.
5his looks like a great place for families to hang out once trees start to leaf out. Have restrooms and play areas, untested. Nice short 1 mile meandering blue path along the river. Like that it is across from the hospital, good to stretch your legs if visiting
Great place to visit for a walk, run, or bike ride. Ample trails abound with seating options every so often for small breaks. Five parking lots are available that allow for starting at different interest points. Best hike for something more tranquil is on the East side that follows the rail tracks for a while and is far from the main roads. Other sections of the trail including the far SW part follow the main road for a section, which is not as enjoyable although still well maintained. Restrooms were super clean. Met Park ranger Dave, who was a kind man that was very hospitable and welcoming. Recommend!
After 4 years of living in the area, my love for this local gem has only deepened. The addition of the community garden has been great, the staff and programs they run are wonderful, and the variety of trails is unmatched outside of our neighboring National Park, Valley Forge. Watching the changes throughout the seasons is a particular favorite of mine, and the Story Walk they have for kids is adorable.
Big thanks to the staff for keeping everything so beautifully maintained
