Such a gem. It is almost criminal to have it on Google, so that it can become invaded like most all of the other CT beaches.None the less this is a BEAUTIFUL and PEACEFUL place. No way one could be disappointed. Thank You to the locals for working to keep it soo beautiful.
Clean, small, family friendly beach. We went at the end of our day trip to walk off the fried seafood and ice cream. Wear comfortable shoes, it is an immaculately maintained concrete boardwalk walkway. You may want some sandals or flip flops for the beach part. The beach itself is small and great for children. Parking is very easy, there is bathroom and outside sprinklers to rinse off.
Great beach! Super quiet, soft sand, and the water was the perfect temperature. Parking fee is NULL, but if you can find parking on street you can pay NULL for walking up access.
Cute little beach with a 1.5-mile boardwalk(concrete ). You can hang out in the water and sand on both sides of board walk. Parking’s free if you’re just walking, but there’s a fee if you’re hitting the beach. Restrooms are there too. We went on a weekend—it was pretty packed and crowded. Very lively place. Again the sand and water play area is small. Late in the evening the people left and it was not crowded
Great place to get a walk in on the Boardwalk. Great views, friendly people. No charge for parking if only walking the Boardwalk, but if visiting the Beach then there is a charge.
