Located in the heart of Niagara Falls, NY, DeVeaux Woods State Park Dog Park offers an expansive and welcoming space for pups and their owners. It features three separate fenced enclosures, making it easy and safe for dogs of all sizes to play off-leash. Locals and visitors alike love the park’s ample, grassy areas that are regularly mowed, its convenient parking, and its overall dog-friendly vibe.
Dog owners appreciate the community spirit here—pet parents are generally friendly and keep a watchful eye on their pups, making sure that everyone can enter safely. The park offers benches under small shade trees and a water fountain located just outside the main fenced area. There are waste stations available to help keep the grounds clean, but guests are encouraged to pick up after their pets, as cleanliness can vary. With its local charm, multiple dog zones, and surrounding park amenities, DeVeaux Woods is a favorite among those seeking an off-leash dog park in the Niagara Falls area.
It’s a great place for dogs to interact with each other and get off the leash. And it’s free!!
Wonderful dog park but no one cleans up after their dog when they crap. It’s filthy with dog poop.
I picked up over 40 piles of poop on the right hand side. I can’t even imagine what the rest of the dog park looks like
Such a great place to take our dogs.
People need to clean up after their dogs!
Great dog park. A few benches and small shade trees. The grass was freshly cut and I did not see a lot of un-scooped poo, which was nice for a public dog park. When I arrived with my dog the other dogs already in the park, were taken away from the gate by their owners so we could enter. It was nice not being overcome by a group of dogs when you first enter the park. I was traveling and everyone I met there was friendly. There is no water in the actual dog park, rather the fenced in between area between the parking lot and the off leash dog park. There is a section for a large and small dogs as well as a fenced area that goes all the way around both dog parks, think a horse race track.
We were camped at Four Mile Creek State Park for several days. After lots of time cooped up while the humans were sightseeing, the puppies needed some energy release. This dog park had 3 fenced areas, which was nice so our dogs could have their own enclosure. Plenty of room to run around, a convenient dog water fountain, and poop disposal. Our doggies ran and ran and ran till they were worn out. Other owners were friendly, even when our rowdy two were barking and being energetic dogs. Would definitely recommend!
Love everything about this place can’t wait to spend an entire day w my son and dog both will have so much fun
