Located conveniently on Meadow Road, the Newport Dog Park offers a simple yet functional space for your furry friend to play and socialize in the heart of Newport, NH. This fenced dog park features separate areas for small and large dogs, providing a safe environment for pups of all sizes to run and interact off-leash. Families will enjoy the pet-friendly atmosphere and the proximity to a kids’ area, making this spot a local favorite for both dogs and children.
While the park is somewhat minimal with amenities, it is praised for being largely clean and well-contained, ideal for letting your dog explore freely. Visitors recommend bringing your own water and poop bags, since supplies may not always be available on-site. Look for the one umbrella for a bit of shade, and enjoy watching your dog play with the park-supplied toys or with new friends!
Decent spot. There’s not much there for fun other than some toys around, but it is wonderful just to run around with your pups 😀
A nice fenced in spot to play with/have your dog run around. Has 2 areas: one for small dogs and one for bigger ones
Went at about 10am on a weekday just to take a peek. Ended up just being myself and the pup! Park was 99% clean of dog poop. Bring water and poop baggies for your pets. (There is a water spigot by the kids area but that’s far away)
Kinda a bare bones park. No water, trash was a tiny can, and bags were empty. No shade, aside from the one umbrella. This park needs a little TLC and some thought.
