The bark dust is the worst change to grass. Sherwood has a great park its a little further to go to but worth it.

Is this a joke? In town from Portland for a softball tournament that I had to bring my dog with and this was the only off-leash dog park that I could find. The reviews said it was huge? Uhm where haha. I guess maybe dog parks around here are usually small I don’t know. But the “big dog” side was COVERED IN DOG POOP. like literally everywhere. My dog pushes a herding ball around. So guess what was super fun to clean up? Yup dog poop all over my dogs face and feet from her ball getting rolled in poop. So we go over to the “small dog” side since there is nobody there. My dog starts whimpering for me to get her ball for her, which she only does when her ball is stuck. I look over and realize that her ball was in a big patch of sticker bushes. She must have ran into it and get the stickers in her foot and realized she can’t get to her ball. Newberg, do better.

Good location and big fenced area. They have water available for your dogs and a picnic table that is covered for all the dogs humans. They also do have poop bags if you forget yours.
