A lovely modicum of park just outside of the Natural History Museum, in the piece of Central Park that juts out.

Theodore Roosevelt Park in New York is a delightful urban oasis that offers a perfect mix of natural beauty and historical significance. Nestled near the American Museum of Natural History, it provides a serene escape from the bustling city streets. The well-maintained walking paths, lush greenery, and charming benches make it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful moment of reflection. The statue of Theodore Roosevelt is a notable highlight, adding a touch of history to the park’s ambiance. While it can get crowded on weekends, the park’s tranquil atmosphere and scenic views make it well worth a visit. Four stars!

We went to the museum and hiked down to the beach. The beach was lovely. The hike is short but pretty steep, just so you’re aware if you have less fit humans in your group or strollers. We tried with a stroller and ended up having teens help carry it back up.

The museum is nice I just wish it had some more kid friendly parts, something touchable or moveable, we’ve done many junior ranger experiences and this one wasn’t great.

Lovely place to visit along with kids. Great collection of specimens for a knowledge enriching experience. The place was well lit and organised into respective sections in a neat and kid friendly way. Would love to visit again.

Ellis Island is a must-visit if you’re interested in immigration history and the roots of America. The museum is very well done and moving. Don’t miss walking along the waterfront — you can take incredible photos with the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline in the background. Peaceful, scenic, and full of meaning.
