The park features a hose for rinsing off your furry friend, as well as easy wheelchair accessibility. Its location provides nice views of downtown Manhattan, and it tends to be less crowded than other nearby options. If you want a reliable, well-shaded, and sociable dog park in NYC, Stuyvesant Park Dog Run is a must-visit for city pups and their people!
My pup and I went here for the first time to go to a cavapoo meetup. This dog park is clean and gated. Plenty of space for my pup to run around and play with other doggos. We stayed for an hour or so and my pup had a blast given she’s knocked out on the couch right now. Glad the owners pick up after their doggos. We’ll def be back on the weekends!
Great dog park. Spacious and with a lot of benches to sit on.
For NYC I think this is a great dog run. I wish that there were some softer services as it is all stone, but it never seems too crowded, the owners all have been very respectful, and there are some good views to be had of downtown Manhattan.
Living in Stuyvesant Town, This would be my first choice over the internal dog park as well as Tompkins square when it comes to giving my pup a little place to run around. Very friendly owners and I, personally, have never had an issue with another dog.
Inclusive, but responsible group, and a large reasonably clean area. The paved surface and good shade coverage make it an all season first choice for me in this neighborhood.
Nice dog run, well behaved dogs!
we like it better than Tompkins as it isn’t all sand/mud/dirt. Nice hose for dogs that like water and for rinsing off before you leave. Only flaw is that the middle brick area is very uneven and seems to be uncomfortable for the dogs to run on.
