What time of day do you love visiting Pier 26 — sunrise, sunset, or a peaceful afternoon?
So much fun. Kid, dog and adult fun and friendly
I visited Pier 26 at Hudson River Park and really enjoyed it. It’s a beautiful spot with amazing river views, comfy lounge chairs, and a peaceful vibe. I loved the mix of nature and modern design—perfect for a walk, relaxing, or watching the sunset. Great place to unwind in the middle of the city.
I loved this playground! Not just the aesthetics, but the feel and the compartments for play time, and safety built into its design. For example, you’ll find rock climbing walls on the exterior, which allows older children to ascend to the top; then there are smaller chambers for younger children that lead to lower egresses. Some are exits, while another may lead to a slide meant for smaller children, all while built on cushiony felt grounding. It’s standing room inside to monitor your children or capture videos (please see the walk-throughs of my cool kid 🤭💙). Overall, it’s a family-friendly environment and a really cool structure in all temperatures. On the sunny days, you’ll find children playing of all ages here and their guardians stationed on blankets underneath the structures.
