Octagon Dog Run

Octagon Dog Run is a small, wheelchair-accessible dog park in New York. It features separate areas for small and large dogs, a water fountain with a ground-level dog dispenser, and is suitable for children. The park has limited space and shade, with a ground surface that can become muddy and contains some wood and dried plants. While not large, it provides a dedicated space for dogs to run off-leash.

It gets a bit muddy at times, but it’s a pretty good dog run. There’s a small dog as well as large dog section, with entrances on opposite ends. I wish it was bigger, and but I’m grateful to have it!
Small but fit for purpose. There is also a water fountain fitted with a ground level water dispenser for dogs — This way both owners and pets can have a drink 🙂
I’m not super crazy about this dog run but I also understand the limitation of space in the island. There are two spaces for big and small dog but both are very small area. and not shade of tree. The ground has some kind of piece of wood and dried plant stuff. The day I went was windy and had spring weather so I believe in the summer will be too hot for dog to come and run.
