Please don’t let humans ruin this beautiful park. I’ve been coming here most of my life and always had an incredible time.
Unfortunately on my last visit there were people drunk and drinking, lots of people on bikes forcing you to move out of the way for them and loud music playing too. Not as quiet as it used to be

So I walked to Lighthouse Park from the train station. It was quite a long way to here. In the park, there are sculptures of faces. There is art to see and a park to have a picnic. It is a nice place to hang out.

We visited this park yesterday. It was fun. There is a restored Lighthouse, art work dedicated to Nellie Bly surrounded by a boardwalk with views of Manhattan.

I came over from the city for a few hours and I truly enjoyed my time there. The pieces of art was a nice add to the park and the light house looks like something out of a movie. I will definitely be returning.

The Lighthouse Park is about a mile from the F train station. You can walk along the East River or take the free Red Bus that should take to north but you still have to walk to the park about 10-15 min. The park honoring Nellie Bky with the Puzzle Girl installation is truly incredible. I went there today and have been reading about Nellie and her amazing life for hours after I got home.
I would recommend visiting the park early in the morning, before the crowds. I was there around 9:30am on a Saturday and the park didn’t have many visitors yet.
