Forgot to take photos my fault. A very, very nice track with a view of the water right besides it. There is a bathroom at the track as well, so you can lock in for hours. Only complaint is that there is construction at every side, so the smell can get bad at times, and every side except for the river has a bad view. The track itself is perfect though.

This is my favorite park in New York. From the entrance to the end . So much to do. dog friendly, kid friendly. It has a baseball field that in morning doggy parents like my self go and throw the boy super nice and clean. Then there is plenty of sitting to look at the water me personally I go to read my Bible it’s very beautiful and peaceful. There is also a work out are that connected to the track that also has a soccer field so much encouragement for a healthy lifestyle . You will find people running in the track as well as the outside by the water it really is amazing to witness and be apart of. Everybody minding their own business. If you keep going there is more sitting area that’s dog friendly then some construction hoping for more sports field if you keep going theirs a kid’s park NEEDS IMPROVEMENT super boring but lots of space but there is a BBQ area right after so I guess it makes up for all the nothingness in kids park then a basketball area with more areas to sit .the grass is clean so much beautiful trees and flowers it’s a place to be in the summer or all year around . Its my favorite park

I mainly pass it while enjoying the local East River promenade up to 23rd Street on my way to Asser Levy City gym but on occasion I join the many utilizing the track. At different times they seem to be a United Nations of varying ages and fitness persuasions. In addition, the great thing is all the types of team sports happening that many don’t associate with City Living for the recreational athlete.

Best place ever to run if you prefer tracks over street running, been in from summer to winter and vibes are definitely best in summer. Only downside is bathroom is iffy and sometimes doesn’t have TP. Great place to watch people play soccer or boxing or do calisthenics while you run, lots of people doing workouts on the turf, run clubs training clubs etc. (in the summer)
