So peaceful. A little oasis of calm tucked away. We went on a ‘hidden gardens’ walk around Manhattan to find some nice little spots hidden around the buildings and concrete jungle. This was one of our favourite spots. Beautiful and very well maintained. Bring your lunch, or buy a snack/drink from the hole in the wall cafe. Take a seat and enjoy the ambiance for a short while.

What a magnificent find. This park is pretty… little hidden oasis in the city. Imagine you’re on leisurely walk in the city and you hear the roaring of water. Oh my interest is so peaked,. So I continue walking to the sound of water and behold this beautiful waterfall right in the city. The lush greenery, the trees and the sound of the water makes for a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle in the concrete jungle. Stress be gone!
Grab a snack at Carol’s Cafe or BYO snack, bring a book or just sit, breathe for a second and just take in the sounds. This park will bring you some peace even just for a moment. Merci beaucoup @greenacrepark

I like to go there to work/study. It is super chill place and nice to look at the fountain. There is a roof over some tables. I go to the bathroom at the Hugh which is like 3 min away. No wifi here, so use your personal hotspot.

Waterfall in the middle of Manhattan for the public. The waterfall is very loud at the bottom. Not ideal for conversation. Which can be a good thing if you’re there to do some solo work and don’t want to hear others talk. But the other seating areas are not as loud so it’s a great place to meet up someone. If you want a seat, get there early or wait for someone to move because the seats are never empty for more than half a second. There’s a little food place there as well near the entrance (menu attached). Beautiful hydrangea are meticulously placed throughout the area.
