The friends work hard to keep the park looking nice. They do not get as much funding and attention as the park (Central Park) to the south east. But what can I say this is Harlem one of the previously under served communities in Manhattan.

One of the Parks that feels like a Mini-Central Park, there’s tons of playgrounds inside of this park, as well as a little lake. There’s even a couple baseball fields inside there too. Well kept but of course you’ll see the occasional piece of litter here and there.

It’s very close to Central Park and it’s nice if you want to experience a smaller park. There was a lot of people exercising there and also families with kids who were playing around. It’s a dog-friendly park.

The Columbia University is very close, but there are a lot of stairs to reach it.
