Dyckman Fields is a scenic park located in the Inwood neighborhood of New York, New York. Known for its well-maintained grounds and beautiful cherry blossoms in early spring, this park is especially popular among locals for daily walks and exercise. Its flat, picturesque trails along the Hudson River provide a pet-friendly environment, perfect for dog owners looking to catch sunsets or enjoy spacious, calm walks with their pets.
This dog-friendly park features walking paths frequented by both pups and their humans, and it’s kept clean by a diligent parks team alongside the supportive community. While not exclusively a dog park, Dyckman Fields offers an inviting option for those seeking peaceful strolls in northern Manhattan. The park is also close to sports venues, restaurants, and offers a sociable atmosphere for visitors both with and without pets.

Calm, clean, peaceful
Absurdly horribly awesomely horrifyingly amazing.
Cool beans, you will like, saw a girl hit a guy with a dodgeball in face off type thing. They are definitely drinking. Heheh.
Come by in early April to catch the cherry blossoms! The Parks team and the community does a great job keeping this park clean.
After living in Inwood for two years, this park is probably what we miss the most as we leave the neighborhood and the city. It was a daily ritual for us to walk here after work–a couple loops that arcs along the Hudson was enough to get us our daily exercise. It was very flat too, unlike Inwood Hill Park. We caught many sunsets while walking here on a clear evening. And although they often left landmines on the walking paths, we will also miss the Canadian geese that were here nearly year round (except for the winter, where I hoped they enjoyed their vacation in Florida).
