🐾 Kids at the Dog Park: Real Stories, Safety Risks & Smarter Solutions
If you’ve spent time at an off-leash park, you’ve probably seen it:A parent strolls in with a stroller 🚼 or […]
Located along the East River in New York, New York, Captain Patrick J. Brown Walk offers locals a unique outdoor experience with pet-friendly trails perfect for dog owners and their furry companions. While this park is more of a scenic walkway than a traditional dog park, it remains a popular spot for joggers, cyclists, and pet lovers alike. The path features views of the river and is an accessible destination for anyone seeking a spot to stroll or get some fresh air with their dog.
Known for its narrow sections—particularly around 20th Street—the walk does broaden into larger park areas, providing more space for movement and enjoyment. However, it is important to note that this is not an off-leash dog park or fenced dog run. There is no designated play equipment or dog-specific amenities, but the trail’s pet-friendly atmosphere and proximity to green space make it a worthwhile visit for city dog owners seeking a change of scenery. Be mindful of cyclists and other foot traffic when walking your dog here.
Unexpected sideways to walk through. A bit of narrow but just for few meters than again you will hot a big park
