I enjoy living here, it is quiet, safe and clean. Maintenance man Gene no longer works here as of 2025, but our new on site maintenance is good. They are good about shoveling snow during winter and salting roads. Neighbors all work and everyone minds their business but is polite if they see you around.

Laundry in building 1 is convenient. I do feel the rent is way over priced at almost NULL,800+ for a one bedroom as there are no amenities on site. There is a dishwasher in unit though. Heat is not included, expect to pay Central Hudson about NULL-250 monthly. Bringing the cost to live here about NULL,550 monthly or 66,000 for 3X the rent to afford living here.

There are a few grills and about two picnic benches but they look worse for wear. There is a tiny dog gated area. Not really “luxury” apartments. Paying rent on zego is convenient and the location is great, right on 9w and near all major stores and highways.

The apartment I moved into here a year ago was being renovated as I guess the previous tenant destroyed it. I was given a move in date for which I did actually move in. But it looked like a rush job to get the apartment done as there were quite a few unfinished things.

The baseboards weren’t completed which left an approx. 2 inch gap from the floor to the wall. The windows were, and still are, disgustingly dirty when you open them. The window screens were, and still are, very cruddy and with holes in them. Half of the doors in the apartment won’t close correctly. The wall socket plates are loose and not affixed correctly, which is a fire hazard. The bathtub has a piece the size of a quarter missing from the floor of it. Plus the rooms have a musty smell in them many of times.

I would text a Kamson representative of these issues and I would either get a response of “It’s not my problem” or “you initialed the walkthrough PPW saying it is all good” or just no response at all. I did initial the walkthrough paperwork yes, but the representative (Izzie) did not do the walkthrough with me and I was rushed to initial. I put maintenance requests through the Kamson portal for the complex and I never received a response for any of my requests. Lastly, I text the onsite maintenance guy and I am either given the run around or just plainly ignored. The only thing the maintenance guy did (After a few times requesting the aforementioned) was finish about half of the apartment in regards to the baseboards.

When it comes to the outside, they make the grounds look good for perspective renters. But the front entrance to my building on the complex has numerous cobwebs and looks dirty. The gutters atop the entrance fixture look like they haven’t been cleaned out in years.

New Windsor Gardens is supposed to be “luxury apartments”, but I can say after a year living here for a year, they are far from it. New Windsor Gardens can be luxury if Kamson tried harder, as the potential and structure is definitely there. I unfortunately will be here for another year, but then I am gone. Although, if these issues were ever addressed, I would seriously consider staying and even recommend to others.

I gave 2 stars because this place has potential to be better than what it is.

I have updated my previous 2 Star review to 4 Stars. After 8 more months after the previous Google review of still getting ignored or the run around with my maintenance requests, I decided to reach out to the regional manager of this area within Kamson Corp. Ms. Conklyn was very communicative, professional, empathetic, and even paid an in person to my apartment to view my maintenance issues first hand. Approximately (2) Momths later most of my issues were resolved. There is still a matter of 2 doors not closing properly, some of baseboard molding not installed and the bathtub is still missing a surface piece the size of a quarter. I can live with it as long as I do not get charged for it upon my leaving as it was that way before I moved in.

The gutters were cleaned several weeks after I put it in the previous review and most of the cobwebs were cleaned as well. The Maintenance guy Gene is a good guy and does the best he can being mostly a one man show for the whole complex. The property manager is still unreliable, unresponsive and condescending the very few times I get a response; BUT the regioanl manager is aces so I just bypass the middle person and speak with the top.

New Windsor Gardens has the word Luxury on their sign but in all honesty a dishwasher and a few general appliances doesn’t make it luxury. It also isn’t luxury when the complex office is literally in the almost always filthy laundry room feet away from the washers and dryers. It may be luxury for some, but in my opinion this place doesn’t define luxury. Still I uograded from 2 Stars t0 4 Stars due soley to Ms. Conklyn.

I think New Windsor Gardens is a very nice place to live. Gene and Izora are both so personable. I love the fact that when I call Gene, he does not feel bothered. If i need something done and he is the area he comes right away. He goes the extra mile, which is not often found in apt.complexes. Izora, over the phone new what I was looking for, as I was leaving my beautiful home for a job. My apartment is a mini of my house I have and i completely love it!!!! How did she know my taste over the phone IDK. Great place to live!

I have resided at New Windsor Gardens for over 10 years, and I love my home. Our current Office Manager, Izora, is always pleasant and professional. She handles requests in a timely manner, and promptly returns phone calls. Our Maintenance guy, Gene, is friendly and personable as well. Gene is very responsive to maintenance issues, and takes pride in his work. Thank you both, for helping to make our complex a great place to live. -G.O.

I moved in July 2019 and am very happy with the building and the view I’m facing from my apartment. My neighbors are great. The apartments are spacious and have ample closet space. Izora Jones, The property Manager was very patient and professional with all the questions I asked. Gene the Super was very gracious to complete any minor issues I had in my unit after I moved in. The grounds are super clean, however, I wish other pet owners would clean up after their dogs. Otherwise, I’m super happy to be living in this community:)
