Here’s the thing… I want to give Bruce Park five stars.. I crave that for Bruce Park, because all the kids and teenagers who visit are dependant on the few sources of entertainment available in our area. Let’s be real though… we’re just gonna let the pool structure go to ruin? It can’t be gutted and turned into something new, useful, and cool for the kids? A roller rink, laser tag arena, art installation, geocache area, escape room, or even an obstacle course? The golf course is like never open either. Ya’ll really need to learn how to put our tax dollars to use in more creative ways. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Almost all of the local kids are strictly victims of circumstance and environment, and if you really want to make positive changes then you should start with the question, “If our children can’t learn to find joy in a positive place like the local park, where exactly will they learn to find it?”Sorry. My bad.Just pretend I didn’t say anything.🏴☠️
Growing up this was my home. I lived right across the highway from here and was there every day as a kid and young adult. Seeing this pool just standing there with no swimmers just breaks my heart. We have enough fast food places, gas stations, and hotels. How about something for the kids in town for a change
