Dog Park

Dog Park in New Iberia, LA is a well-maintained and shaded facility with separate large and small dog areas. It features a fenced area for safety, including protection from nearby Bayou Teche where dogs can swim safely. The park is wheelchair accessible and provides picnic tables, making it family-friendly. However, visitors should bring their own water bowls as water is only available outside the fence. While the park is clean, some concerns about trash and dog supervision have been noted.

Not the best I have been to. We didn’t stay long because some people don’t watch their dogs and there is alot of trash. Which I did my best to clean and we just left. Not worth it. We just went for a walk around the duck pond.
Have one area for small dogs and one area for large that backs up against Bayou Teche if you have a larger dog that likes to swim. Clean and shaded but you need to bring your own water bowl. There is a faucet just outside the fence.
Great area for the dogs to have for themselves. There’s not much stuff in there for them to play or do. The side closes to the bayou is fenced off for their protection from them going in to swim and possibly running into any gators or anything dangerous.
Nice dog park, well maintained. Lots of shade and separate (huge) enclosures for large and small dogs.
Love it, now the big dog side has a fence separating the water from the actual dog park. So no need to worry about kids or dogs falling in or jumping in water.
