Lots of bugs (bring deet) My dog had a great time working doing what he’s meant to do.
We are very lucky to have these types of opportunities offered to the (SE) citizens of Michigan. Keep supporting!

It’s a rather large area but I like to go to “The Radio Control Club of Detroit” it’s a designated area where the club members fly remote control planes and drones and such. It’s a good 300 yards long and maybe a 100 yards wide and they keep it mowed. It is an absolutely brilliant place to let your dog run. I do come across other people that like to do the same and hunters and hikers but I have never had an issue. Across the road is a lake and swampy area where there are a lot of wetland wildlife. It’s really quite beautiful and a great place to meditate and commune with nature. Also, if you look north you can walk on paths all the way up to the next parking area. It’s a cool little hike.

Been here several times. Easy to follow trail. Dogs are welcomed. Not the most scenic but you can find beauty there still.

Not much to see here. The vegatation is all the same. The fall color was not great when we went. The path is nicely groomed and it is very quiet. I prefer to walk in the woods, this is very open trails.
