Fountain Park is a charming pet-friendly park located at 58420 Main St in the heart of New Haven, MI. This scenic spot is popular with locals for its peaceful atmosphere, well-maintained grassy areas, and a beautiful, color-changing LED fountain. The park is highly accessible, featuring wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, making it easy for all visitors and their dogs to enjoy. While not a traditional dog park with a fenced off-leash area, dogs are welcome on-leash at Fountain Park, making it a convenient stop for pet owners strolling through New Haven or seeking a relaxing outdoor space for their pets.
The park is also known for its clean grounds, seating areas, benches, and shaded spots thanks to its young trees. Visitors can take advantage of paved walkways, trash bins, and ample parallel or handicap parking nearby. Though there aren’t dedicated dog facilities like separate play zones or water fountains for pets, the calm riverside views, community events, and peaceful ambiance make Fountain Park a lovely dog-friendly destination in New Haven. For restrooms and playgrounds, New Haven Community Park is just a short drive up Havenridge.

I sit here a lot especially at night it’s so peaceful the water and lights but y’all need to re-up them lights they be dimmed.
Very nice place to sit and watch the river watch the sunrise over the river bring your sunglasses it is very bright the sun reflects off the water and creates a very bright sunrise upper level has quite a bit of parking handicap parking.
Nice grassy area near the post office with a fountain? Brick paver walkway, benches, trash cans, a little free library, and a few trees. No playground or restroom. For those, you need to go up Havenridge to the New Haven Community Park.

In the center of town, adjacent to the post-office, and there’s a few parallel-parking spots to be added this fall. Great little spot to rest on a bike ride or walk, and an even better spot to catch one of the ‘Music In The Park’ events, usually on Friday evenings in July – great community atmosphere, music and bounce house and food and fun for the family. 🙂
