Very nice trail to the lighthouse. Easy walk or bike ride, some shade and very flat. It worth going just to see the light house. Please give my review a thumbs up if you liked it or found it helpful.

Fabulous trail to walk and ride along. It’s very tidy and the scenery is beautiful. Typically extremely well kept.

Overall it was a great trail. Both sunny and shaded areas. However, crossing over a couple of the busier roads to continue on the path between the cities could have been better marked for drivers. There was one stop in particular that the cars were not slowing down in order for our group to cross.

Best bicycle trail I’ve ever been to

On the plus side the trail is sterile, i.e. there is zero traffic to worry about other than the intersections where you have to cross a road. It’s also flat but having said that if coming from Montague there is a very slight climb, it’s not much but it is noticeable. The surface of the trail is excellent and most of the wooden bridges have rubber mats as wood is notoriously slippery when wet. There are also lots of stopping places with benches and picnic areas. Plenty of signs also with descriptions of the trees and also mileage indicators. On the downside, hence loss of one star, it is for the most part rather boring, it’s a straight track through woods for most of the trail with little to look at.
