Nestled along the Monongahela River, Hall Memorial Park offers a scenic and relaxing destination for families, picnickers, and pet owners. With expansive green spaces, picnic pavilions, and beautiful riverfront views, it’s a favorite gathering spot in New Eagle, PA. The park is known for its ample parking, picturesque picnic areas (including a kitchen and prep station), indoor restrooms, and playground facilities, making it an excellent spot for outings and events.
For dog owners, the park provides a pet-friendly environment with walking areas along the riverside, waste bag stations, and plenty of space for on-leash walks. While the park does not feature a dedicated, fenced dog area or agility equipment, visitors appreciate the convenience of poop bag stations and the natural shade provided by mature trees. The park’s waterfront location also offers unique views, making walks enjoyable for both owners and their pets. Nearby dining and event venues further enhance the experience, making Hall Memorial Park a pleasant destination for pets and their people.
With the removal of the Elizabeth damn this launch is now completely unuseable
Additionally, the large gravel lot has been labeled ‘No Trespassing’, so there is also nowhere to park a trailer anymore.
Nice park and was a boat was that already in need of alot of help. With the water down I watch 5 boat almost total trailers and smash fiberglass. I got a smaller jon boat and it was a struggle to trailer the boat, then I dragged both frame rails through the mud and rocks. And if you don’t have 4wd your taking your chances. Please fix boat launch.
Had never been to this park and I was delightfully surprised with it. Didnt even know it existed. Our church had a picnic and our Pastor was brave enough to water baptize several people in the Mon River! Two nice picnic shelters, restrooms, and a kitchen, along with a nice playground for the kiddos made this a nice experience. Have to say that this park is totally a Pittsburgh novelty. You get there by going on River Road past the steel mills and industries. When you pull into the park, you go over railroad tracks(yes, a train did go by at least once while we were there!) When our pastor was giving the sermon, the Monongahela River was in the background, complete with barges on the river. It’s also a dock so we got to see several boats go into the river. There is ample parking. The people who rent it out are great to deal with and it is a reasonable price. I would recommend this.
It is a nice picnic spot where there is a nice boat entry into the river. There are 2 picnic pavilions on either side of a small step up stage overlooking the Monongahela River. There is a nice sized park next to picnic area. The picnic area even has a kitchen with a fridge and a nice prep station. There is an indoor bathroom available. A beautiful view of the Monongahela River.
My daughters outdoor wedding and picnic reception had a great time. A beautiful wayer side park overlooking the mountains and river.
