One of the popular scenic spots in Cascade park. This spot is also free and accessible to the public, plus it’s great for photos. Sadly the pool is permanently closed. There’s a lot of wild animals and birds spotted around here too, if you visit on the right season. It’s definitely a must-see if you’re in the area!

The pool is closed permanently. The falls are pretty but off limits to visitors. You can’t go down to see it close up. Kinda bummed about that. The wildlife is what the 3 stars are for.

Do you like the thrill of being secretly watched, waterfalls and dumpster diving? If so then this is the perfect place for you! Take a nice relaxing hike up a trash filled creek (on my trip I found a nearly new mountain bike!) to a beautiful waterfall with some nice pictographs carved by some prehistoric locals. At the end, a very nice person has installed a high tech rope ladder to help get up the slippery slope!

Big run Falls was peaceful. We watched the kids jump off the falls. Even though it was stupid, it was still entertaining. The sound of the water was great and the kids that were in the water were not loud and obnoxious. We sat at the picnic tables and just enjoyed the sound of the water in Cascade park.

Hidden gem that isn’t talked about enough. The cutest park with 2 good waterfall spots. The hillside to the bigger falls is especially sketchy when it’s raining-but was still doable….in flipflops. A local told us there used to be a coaster that ran through by the bigger falls- going to learn more about that
