Located in New Carrollton, Maryland, the New Carrollton Dog Park is a spacious, wheelchair-accessible dog park that welcomes dogs of all sizes. This pet-friendly park boasts two large fenced areas, providing separate spaces for small and large dogs to run and socialize safely off-leash. Local dog owners appreciate the paved exercise loop surrounding the park, making it an ideal destination for both dog-friendly walks and jogging alongside your furry companion.
The park stands out for its clean grounds, double-gated entry, and accessible design. While there are no water fountains on-site (so don’t forget to bring water for your pet), the park includes outdoor exercise equipment and plenty of room to play. Note that it can become muddy after rain, and while waste stations are installed, visitors report that poop bags are not always available, so bringing your own is recommended.

Good place to let your dogs run around & meet other dogs. It gets very muddy during wet wearing so wear the proper shoes. There is no water fountain so be sure to bring your own water.
They should put water for the dogs there. Some kind of running water. It is a nice park in the city.
Very large dog park with a side for smaller dogs and larger dogs. The small side has plenty of room for dogs to run. Park was very clean. The only down side there were no poop bags in the dispensers but still very nice.
Good sized dog park with two spaces, one for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. Double gates for extra security. However, it is filled with piles of dog poop, which is indicative of the residents’ sense of pet ownership. The city needs to stock the poop bags as well, to encourage dog owners to clean up after their pets.
