New Bremen Dog Park, located at 5299 Erie Rd in New Bremen, Ohio, is a clean and well-maintained local dog park designed for playful pups and their owners. The park provides separate areas for small and large dogs, offering ample room for running, making it a great spot for dog-friendly outings in the region. Dog owners appreciate the park’s welcoming atmosphere, its focus on safety, and a variety of amenities for dogs and their humans.
This dog park features essential conveniences like running water, poop bags, waste cans, and benches for seating. The park is also family-friendly, with a playground nearby for kids and is service dog friendly. While there is some shade provided by a young tree, more shade would improve comfort on sunny days. Please note: parking is limited to street parking and the park is not fully handicap accessible. Recent reports indicate that the park is closing in spring 2025 due to users not cleaning up after their dogs—so visitors are urged to follow all posted rules to help keep this pet-friendly space open and enjoyable for all.
Good place allow dogos to play and have some fun.
The New Bremen dog park was clean, tidy and in good repair. My only suggestion for improvement would be to replace the three dead trees so there is some shade.
Service dog friendly and handicap accessible (with assistance ). Park benches. Poop bags and waste cans. Running water. Recommend all animals have current immunizations. Sharing common water bowl can spread disease. Suggest disinfecting nails and pads after visting public dog parks. Aggressive animals should not be brought to a public dog park.
It’s a newer dog park, with a single, young tree. There is a small and large dog size with ample room for running. Both sides have access to water, bags, and a trash can although it seems that a lot of people don’t clean up after their dogs. The only parking is on the road with no handicap access.
Park closed the spring of 2025 due to dog owners not following the rules to clean up after pets. What a shame. It was a nice park.
