Great place to walk along the river. One side is a wide maintained trail that is great for bikes and kids, the other side is more rustic and woodsy.

Such a beautiful trail alongside the river. It’s easy for anyone looking for a flat walk. Walk is close to 3 miles back and forth. Trail is all natural and is not maintained by the city in the winter.

Remnant of the time 🚂 trains use to travel here. Well maintained building that has now become a free 🆓 library with donated books 📚 inside. There is history posted on one wall of the building.
A walking bridge is nearby that provides access to the New Boston Rail Trail.

Beautiful river views. Choice of wide well made rail trail to New Boston or narrow and slightly muddy (especially beyond Parker Road) path to Goffstown/ Parker. Busy and more road noise at weekends due to covid19 shutdown but weekdays still quiet enough.

We enjoy the trails along the river very much. Hearing and seeing the river while walking through the woods on a very flat and easy trail is nice. We especially enjoy the Christmas ornaments that are placed around the holidays and keep being surprised by seeing one just when we think we’ve seen the last one. Nice parking just off the road. The old station and the history display helps bring the past alive.
