Festival Park

Festival Park is a spacious and clean park featuring a 1-mile packed gravel trail, baseball and softball diamonds, soccer fields, and a children’s playground with swings and various play equipment. The park offers wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, picnic tables, and plentiful shade from large trees. While some playground equipment has needed repairs at times, the park remains a great place for families, kids, and outdoor activities. Restroom facilities include porta-potties near the baseball fields but no running water. Parking can be limited during busy sports events due to cordoned off areas.

I love this park because there are many large trees that give natural shade to sit and watch the kids while they play. There is no running water, however, there is an outhouse. (Just be sure to have hand sanitizer.)
This was our favorite park/playground but haven’t been in a while. Some of the equipment is broken and unsafe for smaller kids. There is ripped caution tape all over as well. Talking to another Mom who goes to the park often, it’s been broken for a quote some time. I hope they do fix it and soon. Other than that, place is still beautiful.
Very nice part has a lot of options of things to do such as football softball soccer walking jogging running as well as a playscape for children. There are porta potties located in the facility. For the most part they are clean would be nice to build a permanent restroom being that this park is a large park, that has quite a few visitors everyday.
Grandkids have played tball here for 3 yrs. This year they cordoned off so many areas that parking is IMPOSSIBLE. Don’t know how they expect to have 4 baseball fields, soccer fields, and large playground all open and being used at the same time with the new LIMITED parking. Park need to add parking ateas or at least remove the cordoned off areas. Not user friendly this year!
The park and 1 mile packed gravel trail is clean and typically quiet. The playground is shaded and has 2 baby swings and I think 4 kid swings. Some of the playground equipment has been broken for a while (missing slide or something, some unsteady little hopper things), but is still quite useable with a nice padded ground. A couple soccer fields, two or three softball/baseball diamonds. It would be nice if there was a gazebo for some shade or for parties. If not that, tennis courts or pickleball courts would be a great addition too! There are portapotties on site by the baseball fields.
Edit: I bumped it up to 5 stars because the slide is fixed now.
Edit 2: bumped back down to 4 to bring attention to another part of the play structure that is broken now. The big bubble viewing window is missing, so a child could fall right though the open circle. Hopefully, they fix it soon!
