Nebo Ridge Trailhead offers a natural dog-friendly trail experience with scenic surroundings where dogs can enjoy exercise and exploration. The area provides ample space for off-leash activity, making it a great spot for dogs to roam and interact in a relaxed outdoor environment.
Wonderful hike that is less rugged than many. Start with a moderate climb to the ridge, then scenic views. Since it’s an out and back trail, you can go as far as you like. Keep an eye out for the mountain bikers, though.
This is one of the first Indiana mountain bike trails. Old school build with a deep woods old school feel. Good trail!
Pretty nifty out-and-back trail to run. The trail rolls and isn’t particularly steep but the fall leaves cover roots so it can be treacherous going up and down the hills. Hunting is permitted so expect that and wear bright colors, ideally something orange on your noggin.
It’s a small parking area, but this trailhead allows horses and mountain bikes (I believe).
A nice smooth and easy to follow trail, we started at the north end and hiked to trails 20 and 18 in Hickory Ridge, with a long mile of road walking between along the KT route through the HoosierNF.
