Only was there for weekend. park is huge! Did not have time to see all that is offered. A lot of campsites. Be careful choosing, some have pretty severe grades. the views in park are spectacular. I was there in July. In the fall with the colors is best time. During my stay there were several sightings of Timber Rattlesnakes in campsites. In fact there was one that I was fortunate to get a picture. Was told it was their mating season and is reason for more activity and sightings. Just be careful! leave them alone ant they will leave you alone.. overall nice park. little to big and crowded for me, but nice..

Wonderful park to visit or to camp for a few. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Staff are friendly and helpful. The scenic route was still not open due to a tornado, but there are plenty of scenic areas and great views to take pics! The campground areas are nice. All have a fire pit and pretty descent space. We will return.

Beautiful trail around Ogle Lake! Trail 7 is easy, scenic, and peaceful—great for a relaxing hike with constant lake views. The path is well-marked, with benches and a few small hills. Perfect for families or a quick nature break. Brown County State Park never disappoints!

1st time rv camper in the park and it was beautiful! There’s hiking trails, scenic overlooks, playgrounds, horsebackriding, swimming pool and camp store all within the gates. Should you want to explore outside the gates there’s a town nearby that you can walk all the cute shops.

It’s such a great camping spot not far from the city, plus just a few minutes to Nashville, IN, for a fun shopping and window shopping outing! They also have fun things to do inside the park…trails, a tower you can climb, nature center, horseback riding, a pool during the summer! We have been going here for years and love it!
