We called for some information on how to help us find a home for a stray we found and were pleasantly surprised at how kind Becca was and how helpful she was towards our situation! We live outside of Brown County, but we had a stray show up at a friends in Lawrence County. Our vet checked the stray for a chip and she wasn’t chipped. We haven’t been able to find her home and we cannot keep her and all shelters are full. Becca gave us a bunch of information on rescues and websites to use as a tool to rehome the dog and we are so thankful! No other shelter we called had provided us with any information and were quite rude. Thank you so much to Becca for her kindness displayed today!

They went out of their way to help us find our new best friend.
They seem to have more varied breeds than Marion County

They allowed us to be one in on the day they were closed and we came home with
our new furry family member.

This place is great! Nice people. So many cats and dogs to choose from. I felt so bad leaving them there. They are looking for some love. I stayed till my wife dragged me out of there. Breaks my heart to see them in jail. Please take some time to visit them. Take one home. This is Ajax. We love him.

Had a great experience here. The facility seemed decently new and well kept. Quite clean and presentable. We adopted a kitten. Was able to spend time with cat. They had a carrier, food, etc. To send home with us during the transition. They have Cats, Dogs, and more to adopt. Staff friendly.
