The hiking trails are my favorite. There are two lakes: one you can access for fishing, while the other is off-limits. The dog parks are spacious, providing plenty of room to play.

Great park with nice trails for hiiking and walking. The dog park area is really nice, and depending on the size of your dog, the small breed area is completely fenced in! Two small lakes and trails make this park feel like your hours from civilization!

Very nice park. Dog friendly with two separate fenced dog areas – one for small breeds and one for large breeds. Nice bathrooms, picnic tables, and plenty of trails. Even a few benches and tables scattered about in the middle of nowhere to sit and enjoy the scenery. Trails are well maintained. FYI the trails marked with the dashed lines do not have a wide walk path – more a single file type of trail with plenty of roots, rocks and other trip hazards. The main trails they maintain with wood chips or similar and easy to walk. As it usually goes with being in the woods, you get your take of bugs, ticks included. Just bring some bug spray, check the kids afterwards, you’re good.

The good: beautiful park. Lots of trails, all well maintained. Bathroom was super clean and smelled good?!?The bad: Ticks galore! I found 4 ticks on both of my dogs and all were deer ticks. They really need to spray for ticks in the area.

A beautiful, expansive, well-cared-for park with gorgeous hiking trails, dog park, wildflower fields and shaded tree paths. We love coming here and often see incredible wildlife from turtles, garder snakes, hawks and falcons, bats, birds m, egrets, herons and even sandhill cranes! Highly recommend this for nature lovers and hikers. It’s a beautiful place to have a picnic and take engagement or wedding photos. There is a fee to enter the park if you do not have a season pasd.
