FAQ for Freedom Park in Naples Florida:
I went to freedom park looking for a good place to get out and go for a walk. It had a great memorial flag and fountain with a building with a washroom. They have water filters there with refrigeration available so the water is cold. They have boardwalk, paved pathways and maintenance people cutting the lawn and keeping up the property. The paths are relatively short but you can go in loops endlessly. 45 minutes to an hour and you can discover everything this place has to offer.
Absolutely love the nature, the peace, quiet, serenity and solace. I am mourning the loss of my 13yearold dog. Freedom Park gives me great comfort❤️🩹🙏
Beautiful American flag stone monument. This monument is to pay tribute To one of America’s most horrific terrorist attacks in American history,(9/11). This monument is surrounded by brick walkways with fallen heroes names and other people who have lost their lives. Beautifully round stone, cutting of each of the 50 states. This monument is set at freedom Park surrounded by nature preserves with ponds, walk ways, picnic tables, clean bathrooms working water fountains. Amazing lizards alligators turtles, catfish. Beautiful butterflies, dragonflies all sorts of birds. If you’re in the area visiting or happen to live, here is a great place to go
The park was very nice with nice well kept trails. The trails ranged from concrete, dirt, and boardwalk. There were plenty of observation decks looking out over the marshes. Fishing is allowed at the park. Saw plenty of Florida birds, snakes, and fish. The only downfall is there are no garbage cans throughout the park so there was quite a bit of trash along the trails and in the marshes.
I love this park! Plenty of walking on a combination of concrete paths and boardwalks that meander around and across several ponds created for ecological purposes. I saw birds, fish, rabbits and a squirrel but other people that day saw alligators, snakes and other critters. I also really appreciate that leashed dogs are allowed. It would be a great location for sunset photos.
