This is a very well maintained, peaceful and lovely trail. It is far from the road so it is quiet and has very little traffic going through. The trail is mostly gravel and small stones so it’s easy but dogs with small paws may not like it. I walked a mile and a half till the intersection with rosebud mining rd. And the path was mostly shaded. The parking area at the Twin Rocks trailhead is organized and rather spacious.
The trail is relatively in good condition considering the time of year and weather patterns although it was a very nice walk today sun was out it’s a slight breeze
Wide well maintained path, lot’s of parking for vehicles or for someone to pick you up, watch for cars/trucks when crossing the road, lots of traffic, could use a trash can at the trailhead though. Also your pet must be leashed on this trail and.Remember, pick up after your pets! If you don’t wanna carry it then maybe walk your dog before coming to the trail, I’m looking at all those people who just bring their dog on the trail for ten feet then leave after they finished their business.NO ATVS, if you’re on this trail with an ATV don’t say “oh i had no idea” you know full well people don’t want you tearing up the trail with your ATV
