A beautiful hiking trail surrounded by nature, amazing trees and the sounds of waves crashing with a nice breeze. So worth the 3+ hour drive.

Amazing trail!!!

There was a park employee with a leaf blower on the trail. A leaf blower.
Yeah… so there’s that

Knocking off a star for that.

Great trail for a hike in the park. It is mostly shaded with some sun. There is many areas of deep sand, so if you have trouble walking on the beach, this probably isn’t a good trail for you. It is also not the easiest for a bike due to the sand. We got to see all kinds of birds and gators, the famous octopus tree is on this trail near the north beach parking end. The trail is end to end so you’ll be hiking the same trail back to your car.
