A long walk on the beach to the jetty but it’s worth it. Starfish, shells, a sand dollar here and there. Go at low tide preferably morning or evening. Could even clearly see fish schooling through the waves before the wave broke. Tried to get a picture of that but wasn’t successful.

The beach is great. And if you want to hike about 4 miles, the jetty is interesting to see and walk on.

Never thought hiking down a beach and walking on a jetty would be so interesting, but apparently this is the secret sea turtle hot spot of SC. Saw at least 12–14 turtles, one decent sized shark, stingrays, and all sorts of fish. Just be sure to keep sun, heat, and bugs in mind depending on time of year.

Was raining a bit today so not many people out and it was nice to have the beach almost by myself. Beautiful beach and a lot of really nice hiking spots out there too.

Pretty great area! Very peaceful and less crowded than other beaches around the Myrtle beach area. There are quite a lot of shells if you’re out there during low tide. The water was decently clear as well. We saw a couple of medium sized crabs, a pod of dolphins out in the distance, a few alligators, and a sea turtle all in the same trip! Great trip to make if you’re in the area and want to see nature.
