Beware of the delicious hush puppies. They will get you full before your meal.
Pretty views and if you have kids you can get them to ride a pirate ship right outside the restaurant.
Wife took me to breakfast on Father’s Day at the DD saloon. Could not have been a better experience. Service was spot on. Food was amazing. Sitting on the deck with perfect SC ambient was incredible. Wife had the banana pancakes which were perfect. I had to try their fried oyster eggs Benedict which was great. Grits were perfect other than need a lot of salt. Looked at their Happy Hour menu and guarantee we’ll go to those.
Love the waterfront view! It’s very scenic and relaxing. The bbq platter was pretty decent, as were the sides, but the hush puppies were TO DIE FOR. They immediately made it to my list of best things I’ve ever eaten. And our server was an absolute delight.
Wonderful local restaurant with delicious menu options. Ordered the Cuban sandwich, turkey wrap and the garlic Parmesan chicken Mac & cheese bowl. All great menu items with generous portions and affordable prices. Available, our server, was very attentive and took great care of us and our food was served rather quickly. The hush puppies were as good as they get. We’ll be back!
This is our second summer visiting this restaurant, and it’s easy to see why it stays busy. The location offers a beautiful view, especially when seated outside, and the live music adds the perfect touch of summer vacation vibes. The hush puppies served to every table are absolutely delicious, and the shrimp plate is definitely worth trying. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, that’s to be expected with seafood. The service has been consistently friendly and efficient. We’ll definitely be back again!
