Very nice State Park. It does cost a small to enter or you can buy a yearly pass. But it is a great place to take family. It has nice beach access & very nice & clean public restrooms & changing rooms. Best i have seen in the area. Sea turtles come & build nests which are market & protected. Has nice visitor center & store. Has a historical building & many walking & bike trails that take you back through the forest & to a couple outlooks of an inlet to see gators at times & many bird species. Its a nice beautiful park. Will add picture later or next time i am there. Got new phone so no pictures are on this phone of there yet. Very nice place for families & adults. Beach is more family appreciate than others in the area.

Love this beach! There’s an entry fee, but it’s soooo beautiful and natural. We stayed in a high rise on the beach in town, and came out here one day. We LOVED this beach so much better than the one the condo was on. It’s clean, and the dunes are beautiful. It wasn’t too crowded, but it’s spring break for us and not for the locals. The bathrooms are renovated and super nice! They were painting the exterior while we were there. The castle is also cool, if you have 45 min to check it out. My second time in myrtle beach and both times we visited a state park and the beaches at the state parks are 1000x nicer!! It’s worth the entry fee. There were like 15 small alligators in the marshes on the drive in too. We didn’t do the walking trails, but there’s a lot of stuff to do here and we just did the beach and castle.
