The new playground is one of the best in the surrounding areas. I also loved how they incorporate learning into the walkway that surrounds the park.
Park was nice. I was hoping walking trail was longer, but ended up doing the private trail that entrance was at end of park. Park was nice and clean!
This path lures you in with a easy few minutes of walking before it hits you with first of many small craggy washed out areas. Be sure you have good shoes, it is slippery for sure. Some wonderful person or group has added flexible hand rails made of water hoses. I pooh poohed the hoses at first & then I found them to be an awesome engineering feat! We didn’t make it til the end, started too late in the day. I got a good leg & arm work out!!
Lovely park nestled in the valley alongside the river. It boasts a playground, picnic spots, restrooms, and expansive grassy fields adorned with soccer goals and a disc golf course. A mile-long paved walking trail that loops around next to the riverbank, offering a scenic stroll. Notably, an outlook provides captivating views of the river, complemented by intriguing historical insights scattered along the trail. Pets are warmly welcomed, provided they’re leashed. With its diverse offerings, this park caters to all—ideal for families, leisurely walkers, and anyone seeking a pleasant escape.
Great place to disc golf. Short 9 hole course with no tee pads but not a big deal. Has play ground for kids, walking path, soccer fields and you can put in your kayak or canoe here as well. Well maintained, has trash cans and porta potties and I believe a structured bathroom as well. Small gazebos. Nature trail. Great place.
