Nice little park. The maintenance man was picking up garbage that people failed to put in the garbage bins located throughout the park. Thank you for keeping the park beautiful.

This is a pretty nice park. Lots of people use it. I don’t like the sand. It really makes a mess. I wish they would open the restroom, instead of the nasty porta-potty.

Men’s bathroom was locked, and women’s had no lights because the sensor had been broken, graffiti was all over the walls, and trash everywhere. One of the yeah cans we’re overflowing and trash was thrown everywhere. Last year when we passed through, there were bees burrowing in the sand. We were looking for a place to stop and let the kids eat and run around on our way back ftom the lake. Dad that the city of Mt. Vernon has let this park go to waste.

This hidden little gem is a diamond in the rough. Nice walking trail an lots of things for the kids. They have several swings plus a playhouse. Also the small amphitheater gives you some solitude where you can just enjoy the views. I highly recommend that you visit this small.park
