Located right in the heart of Mt Sterling, this dog park provides local dog owners and visitors with a convenient and pet-friendly spot for their furry friends. Known for its fenced-in yards and open space, it’s the only fully fenced dog park in the area, making it a reliable option for off-leash fun. Easy access and wheelchair-friendly parking make it an inclusive destination for all.
While the park is well maintained and offers benches for pet parents and a unique hydrant centerpiece, it lacks some amenities like water fountains—so bring your own for your dog. A nearby creek gives adventurous pups an alternative, though there’s no dedicated swimming facility. Occasional flooding has impacted the fence in the past, but overall, this spot is praised as a much-needed, safe, and sociable gathering point for dogs in Mt Sterling, Kentucky.
The rest stop we intended on stopping g at was closed and needed some where we could take our dog that wasn’t too far off our path. A great little place with fenced in yards. Even a little hydrant in the center for them to pee on. Benches for the humans of course. Stop in if your by here. For sure!
Loved this park till we got the floods and the fences are now destroyed. Its well kept, mowed and such. Please fix the fences its the only fenced in dog park around.
A nice little place in town to take your pet. For such a posh town. There should be more places for dogs and such.
It’s nice there are some pot holes that could make it difficult for a dog to run and there’s no water unless you count the little river near by all in all its nice .
No water, only a creek nearby. No play equipment for dogs.
